The Coming of the Saucers
I was born into Ufology, and the paranormal. My beloved grandfather, Kenneth Arnold, started the modern-UFO era on June 24, 1947, when he reported witnessing 9 chevron-like UFO’s flying around 1700 m.p.h. over Mt. Rainer in Washington state.
I believe we are not alone in the universe. Ancient Alien Theory suggests we have been genetically engineered. We have DNA that cannot be explained. There are thousands of years of folklore and paintings of Aliens and UFO’s. Some describe them as “star people”, or angels with wings. Our ancestors could not explain what they saw in the sky, except they were “Gods”.
Around the time the atom bomb was developed and used in Hiroshima, the “flying saucers” that society had forgotten, were being seen again. Two weeks after my grandfather’s sighting, the Roswell crash happened. Jesse Marcel, who responded from the military, showed his son part of the wreckage material found. It had hieroglyphs on it, if you crushed it, the aluminum-like metal would reshape itself automatically.
After the military recovered the downed UFO and the Alien bodies, the government covered it up saying it was a crashed weather balloon. After some other crashes of UFO’s happened, and were covered up again by the government, our technology exploded.
Ancient Alien theories suggest reverse-engineering of Alien technology.

Shanelle Schanz is the granddaughter of Kenneth Arnold, the man to first report 9 “flying saucers” over Mt. Rainer on June 24, 1947. Shanelle grew up close to her Grandfather and before he died he told Shanelle, “to always think for yourself and don’t trust the government. When he died in 1984, he told the family that it wasn’t the right time for disclosure, but now the time has come.
Shanelle grew up in Boise, Idaho. Then moved away to Vancouver, Washington to enroll and do a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from Clark College. She worked at places like Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
Shanelle then took time off from school to raise her two daughters.
From 2016 to 2020 Shanelle completed a Philosophy A.A. from The College of Western Idaho.
In February of 2023 Shanelle also republished he Grandfather’s iconic book, “The Coming of the Saucers.”
Shanelle has been a guest on Coast to Coast and has done many podcasts. She has always been very proud of her Grandfather and how he changed the world. He also started modern UFO Era.
