Dr. Michael Masters
“A Multidisciplinary Scientific Approach to the UFO Phenomenon”
This talk cautiously explores the premise that “UFOs” and “aliens” – rather than having extraterrestrial origins on a different planet in a distant solar system, may instead be our extratempestrial human descendants, returning from the future to study us in their own hominin evolutionary past.
Dr. Michael P. Masters, professor of biological anthropology and author of the recently published book Identified Flying Objects, examines how persistent 6-million-year trends in hominin biocultural evolution, if continued into the future, are likely to result in the same behavioral traits and physiological form consistently described in authentic reports of close encounters with “alien” beings.
Using an abductive scientific approach firmly rooted in anthropology, astronomy, astrobiology and physics, this presentation shares years of in-depth research to illustrate how the continuation of long-term evolutionary trends in human culture and biology on this planet, may ultimately result in us becoming the ones piloting these disc-shaped craft, which are likely the very devices that allow our future progeny to venture backward across the landscape of time.
In essence, this talk seeks to offer a unique perspective and novel multidisciplinary approach to investigating the UFO phenomenon, through the synthesis of current scholarly research related to human origins, the cosmos, extraterrestrial life, and the physics of time and time travel.
Dr. Michael P. Masters is a professor of biological anthropology at Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. He received a Ph.D. in Anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2009, where he specialized in human evolutionary anatomy, archaeology, and biomedicine.
Dr. Masters spent the following decade developing a broad academic background that unites the fields of anthropology, astronomy, astrobiology and physics, to examine the premise that UFOs and Aliens may simply be our distant human descendants, returning from the future to study us in their own hominin evolutionary past.
Collectively, Dr. Masters’ background, education, and current research program combine to offer a unique perspective and a novel approach to addressing unanswered questions pertaining to a widely recognized, yet poorly understood aspect of modern global culture.
His new book, Identified Flying Objects: A Multidisciplinary Scientific Approach to the UFO Phenomenon, challenges readers to consider new possibilities while cultivating conversations about our ever-evolving understanding of time and time travel.
